Bruce Partridge - Lead consultant, Design Engineer ...

Bruce began a career in biological science and instrumentation, in the University of Otago in 1970. Over the past 35 years he has gained experience in a wide range of scientific disciplines. His early years spent in bio-medical research and electron microscopy, Bruce then retrained in electronics & computer control systems, while working for several European organisations. In 1986, under the name Biotech, Bruce developed several innovations including the first PCR instruments (DNA amplifier), built in New Zealand. This first venture into private enterprise saw the development of many devices for university staff, and for local industry. Today, Biotronics Otago Ltd. occupies a spacious suite in central Dunedin, which is a short walk from the University of Otago.

Michael Partridge - Consultant, Software Engineer ...

Michael has been involved as a consultant with Biotronics for several years specialising mainly in software design and development. Graduating with a degree in Information technolgy in 2001 and various other qualifications, including Microsoft certification in Database design and administration. Michael has been involved with creating and integrating graphical user interfaces to embedded control systems.

Robert has worked with Biotronics Otago Ltd. for two years, since returning to Dunedin to study industrial design at Otago Polytechnic. Proficient with "Solidworks" & "Rhinoceros 3D", Robert applies these skills to concept presentation and production engineering.
